The Noughties are over. I can barely remember what I did last year, let alone over the last decade. What the hell did I do last year?
Well, using the power of blog archives, "let's recapitulate" ...
In 2009 I:
In 2009 I:
Started a blog

Killed a Wabbit
Discovered Bacon Boy
Moshed to the Pixies

Had some fabulous food with some fabulous people

Went back to Burma

Made a film

Met George McFly

Resurrected the dead

And stalked Heston Blumenthal
Twenty-ten has a lot to live up to. I hear Soundgarden are reuniting ...

Ha ha, that is a great round up, very funny and original. Love your sense of humour. I see that you know Rejina, we spent NYE at Fernandez & Leluu, she is delightful.
Happy new year to you!

Hi Luiz! Thanks and Happy New Year to you too!
Yeah, I saw Rejina on Monday and she said Fernandez & Leluu was brilliant :)
Fab round up, yes indeed!
@Kavey Why thank you - so's yours :)
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
"Let me tell you something. BACON. IS. GOOD. FOR. ME!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Brilliant! an eventful year there young lady :-) here's to even more fun in 2010!
@BribedwithFood - Curtis was the highlight of the year for me
@scandilicious - Thanks!
Hey meemalee - You had a heck of a year! Happy New Year, and I can't wait to see what's up in 2010.
@KirkK - Thanks Kirk, and a very Happy New Year and 2010 to you too :)
:D Great round up - was wondering where I'd seen that actor before (caught another glimpse of him in a more recent film and he just looked SO FAMILIAR)!
@Su-Lin - Thanks!
Crispin Glover looks exactly the same as he always did - he's only 45 so he was younger than Michael J Fox when he was playing his dad in Back to the Future!
Thank you so much for your posts for 2009; your round up carries the same hallmark of quality that your posts do. I know it might subtract time from the blog, but write a book: The Coffee Table Blog Book. ;-)) It would be ideal; observations, recipes, some stunning photography, a wicked sense of humour - all brilliant for such a book!
@chumbles - Chumbles, thank you - you are a gentleman and my favourite reader, but I fear that no-one would buy such a tome apart from me and you :)
An epic year! Ah, Rock en Seine - I went there in 2007, it was a fun weekend. I am looking forward to some fine gigs and some fine eating this year. Starting with pigfest!
@Niamh - I'd never even heard of Rock En Seine till last year - you are a true rock chick :)
Good website!
