Any relation to the pockmarked faced auntie?

@The Grubworm _ I'm going to rely on @hollowlegs for intel as it is her neck of the woods.

@Su-Lin - You genius - it all makes sense now! Uncle Wrinkle is obviously married to the lady that made Ma Po Tofu ;)

That whole stretch of road is great. It's next to Baftas solicitors and just along from Mankind Estate Agents, Salami Business solutions and Tasty Kebab

I've lived in New Cross for about 13 years and have rarely seen anyone eat here (I've never eaten in it for that reason!)

The best take-away name in the area however went to Chasing Dragon Chinese takeaway which unfortunately was in an area surrounded by junkies "chasing the dragon" we think they named it on purpose - it didn't last long anyways!

@The Ample Cook @KirkK - You're right, both those would have been scarier!

@Oliver - I saw Baftas but not the others - loving Salami Business Solutions!

@I heart cupcakes - Has Uncle Wrinkle been around for that long?? Chasing Dragon is a fantastic name :)

Yeah it was here when we moved to New Cross and I'm pretty sure it was there before when we used to come here for nights out. I should really pop in and buy something to try it out, although I'm not as adventurous as you when it comes to eating (having read your Le Wei Xiang review - fab but not sure I could've eaten it all!!)

Whatever. Uncle Wrinkle does the best crispy shredded beef south of the river. jp

@John Paul - I'd love to try it - it's never open when I'm in the area though!

Uncle Wrinkle in New Cross is actually a really good Chinese! I've eaten there countless times and always had a good meal.
